The “Too Big RICKOVER” picture CDR Matt Beach ordered for the RICKOVER Ward Room – a story shared by the COB.
As CDR Beach later acknowledged, a 24” photo will fit through a 24” hatch, but its frame won’t.
After analyzing alternatives including disassembling and reassembling the frame and recutting the frame’s glass, the COB asked, “Why don’t you just order a smaller print?”
Bre rejected Matt’s subsequent proposal to hang the original above their living room fireplace.
